Golf croquet is a dynamic, engaging and addictive sport that shares key elements with popular games like golf, tennis, and many other team sports. Like golf, it requires skilled strokes and precise ball placement, while its court-based format and competitive, head-to-head gameplay mirror the strategic shot selection found in tennis. Golf croquet is a blend of mental challenge and physical activity, without the intense demands of more strenuous sports.
Whether you're accustomed to navigating a golf course or swinging a racket, golf croquet is easy to learn. However, excelling at the elite level requires mastering ball control and staying mentally focused to outmanoeuvre your opponent. To support the development of talented players, Cambridge Croquet Club has launched a special scholarship program designed to fast-track accomplished athletes who can show potential in the key skills of the game. Successful applicants will benefit from weekly intensive coaching and competitive tournament experience, culminating in a final tournament with a total prize pool of up to $6,000.*
